A special birthday...a special handmade card...

I wanted to personalize this card by emphasizing the day of the birthday...so I started with a mini calendar I had laying on my desk...and created a card for it.   I really like how it turned out.  Simple, but colorful.
(Yes, it is a card for a guy...a very special person!)

Try creating your own card... featuring something you already have on hand?

The SU items I used on this card were Night of Navy and  Whisper White cardstock, Real Red satin ribbon with Sticky strip. For more texture, I used the  Square Lattice embossing folder on the white card stock, and ran it through my Big Shot.  I also used a small piece of Brushed Silver cardstock and some SU Cork sheets to create the mini 'corkboard' look.

(To read more details about each item listed...click on the item name, and a 'pop-up' window will  show a photo and detailed discription of that item.)

Have a blessed day!
