A "whiff of spring"...

I've a busy week coming up (with my stamp classes)...so I thought I'd share a card I made some time back.
It soooo depicts warm weather, sunshine, blue skies, spring growth...and song birds singing their hearts out!

I am looking forward to warmer weather!  Hope you enjoy the card...and hang in there...it won't be long now, and we will have the real thing right outside our doors! - Micki

To re-create this card, you will need the following SU punches:  Two-step Bird Punch and the Jewelry Tag Punch (for the fence posts)...some card stock (whisper white, ridinghood red and chocolate chip used here), along with some glue, as well as bashful blue classic ink to sponge the sky, ridinghood red ink and soft suede inks for sponging the bird and old olive ink for the grass.
(I cut out  my own 'grass mask'.  I also used it to sponge over the bottom of the 'fence posts').

Don't forget the word or phrased greeting! (shown is the retired "Whimsical Words"  ...I would suggest using the current  "Sincere Salutations" ...a beautiful, multi-greeting stamp set.)

I hope you enjoyed this "whiff of spring" ...and that you will try making your very own card!

NOTE:  If you need any of these supplies, just click on the item ...and to order it directly. Quick and Easy!

Keep stamping!  - Micki

I'm hanging on, Micki. This crazy weather we're having in Ohio is so hard on the sinuses. Your card definitely "screams" Spring. Nothing like seeing the robins come out - a good sign Spring is on the way.

Your little bird is so sweet. Love the picket fence. That's such a cool way to use the little tag punch. TFS Mickie!
