Gift card or money-holder...or "just a little note"...

Check out this card we made in class a while back...

It is folded to make it's own "pocket" ...to hold a separate note or a gift card or cash.
Below are different photos with and without the insert.

I ran the front portion of the Old Olive card stock through my Big Shot, using the Square Lattice Embossing folder.   After tearing the top front edge...I sponged and then folded it forward.  Victoria Crochet Trim was placed across the front (flap only) and glued down at each end (underneath the flap) using sticky strip.  This also holds flap down.
I then wrapped the Daffodil Delight ribbon around complete card (from back to front) and tied it in a faux knot. This 1/4" ribbon holds the "pocket" together.  The Very Vanilla insert was die cut with the Top Note die and lightly sponged. (I used a retired punch to hold my gift card in place.) You could also use a mini glue dot to hold it in place...or write a personal note on the Top Note.
Add whatever stamped tag you prefer.  I used three different punches to make my tag...1 1/4" circle punch, 1" circle punch and the 1/2" circle punch...as well as a Rhinestone in the center. (The greeting is now retired.)

Try making your own "Pocket" Gift / Note Card...  Why not make yours a graduation or wedding card?

Thanks for coming by!   Don't forget to count your blessings today!  - Micki
